About Me

I have always been surrounded by music. Music is stitched into my soul. I can feel it coursing through my veins as my heartbeat quickens as I step up to the microphone. I have never felt so alive. And it’s like that every single time I take it the stage. 5 people or 500 people it doesn’t matter, I still feel my heart swelling up with the joy of listening to beautiful melodies telling me terrible things. Because this is the place I come to feel my emotions. I found that I’m a lot more honest about everything going on in my life it if I have a guitar in my hand. I can’t explain it. It’s almost t like the guitar is my shield that will protect me. I have the beautiful fortune to play music that makes people happy. I have spent years teaching myself to play the guitar. It has been a labor of love. And I haven’t always been a singer. But things happened in my life that threatened to swallow me whole. I had to release what was building up inside of me or I was going to explode. And I found that pressure valve in putting my story to song. I sing from the deepest portion of my stomach. So deep that I tend to close my eyes. Even on stage. When something takes over you like singing does me, you follow it wherever it leads.
