Tearing right out of the historical and notorious Louisiana music scene, Gypsy La Blue brings a mix of not only the rock and roll thundering sounds of hits like Heart’s “Barracuda”, but will also drive you all the way back to the melodic guitars and harmonies of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”. (That’s right, Louisiana can get down to some rock and roll, too!) There are no “filler songs” in this show. Every song is a banger that keeps the crowds excited and engaged from the first song to the last. Our song library is mainly comprised of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s rock, but we have a few bluesy tricks up our sleeves. While all of our songs are well known and loved, crowds and promoters often comment that we cover songs that they’ve never heard other bands cover and how our sets transport them back to better times. Gypsy La Blue was founded in 2006 by Kenny and Jessica Jones, lead guitarist and vocalist, respectively. Beyond the great cover choices, the band also writes and records their own incredible original music that stays within the same veins and genres as the set list. Our first album, Hearts on Fire, is available for your listening pleasure on all of the popular online music platforms. Our newest song, Mean Girls, is available now.
